If you haven't been able to guess yet, I love Etsy! I see Etsy as being a great addition to the Green movement. It allows for individuals to sell and market their craft and also has a large selection of recycled "vintage" items available for purchase. Being able to run your own small business is made easy with Etsy and millions have taken advantage of this (myself included!).

This allows you to have a selection of unique and every day items that are made right here in United States and Canada. Your money goes to the maker/seller instead of a large corportation who might manufacture their products outside of the country.
