I've already done many posts about laundry and eco-friendly laundry detergent so I'll make this a quick post.
We use only eco-friendly products in our laundry room now. This is one are where we have been able to 100% Go Green!
To clean our clothes we use either my
homemade Powder detergent, my homemade Gel detergent,
EcoStoreUSA's Liquid Laundry, or
Seventh Generation's Free & Clear laundry detergent. Why so many? Because I was having fun experimenting with the best laundry solutions available to the Eco-minded person. Honestly, I like them all pretty equally! DH prefers the EcoStoreUSA Liquid Laundry for his black tee shirts because my homemade detergents don't always break down completely and it will leave little white spots on his clothing. Otherwise, we just use whataever is closest.
To soften our clothing we use either Seventh Generation's Free & Clear fabric softener or just 1/3 a cup of vinegar in the rinse cycle! In addition we use
Fuzzy Wuzzy Dryer Balls in the dryer to help soften our fabrics and also decrease the amount of time we need to use the dryer to get our clothes dry!
So there you go. My Eco-Friendly laundry room!

I've thought of making detergent, but I don't know how I'd find the time. I'm pretty happy with Crunchy Clean as well, it smells nice!
I need to try homemade powder detergent. I am just exploring the world of homemade deodorant and loving it. Thanks for the links/tips! your blog is wonderful and I'm so glad I stumbled upon it!
I'm going to have to steal your idea and take pictures around my house. :)
I love seeing in others lives.
