My Lip Stuff Review and Giveaway

If you haven't noticed yet- I LOVE chap stick, lip balm, and lip gloss.  I'm one of those people who wear it constantly and always have a tube on her.  I have a tube that sits on my nightstand at night, a tube in my pocket during the day, usually at least 2 in my purse, one in my camera bag, one in my bathroom, and one somewhere in the kitchen.  I love it that much.  So when I got the chance to review My Lip Stuff I jumped at the chance!

The first thing I loved about My Lip Stuff was that their products are not tested on animals and contain only natural ingredients.  Not only that, but Brea, the founder of My Lip Stuff, proudly drives a hybrid and does other eco-friendly things around the home.  So this product is Eco-Friendly from the core!

Brea sent me three of her many, many, many (over 500!) flavors to try out and tell you about.  The first I decided to try was the Apple Smoothie.  I usually love Apple flavored stuff so I jumped right on this and very much enjoyed it!  It's not really an artificial apple-type flavor but more along the lines of what apples actually taste like which is pleasant.  The second one I tried quickly became my favorite.  Birch Root Beer... it smells (and kind of tastes) just like Root Beer!  I am a huge Root Beer fan and I found myself pulling out that tube and applying it more often than I usually do to get the refreshing Root Beer scent!  The third was Cinnamon Custard Swirl which I actually thought smelled just like Chai Tea.  And in addition to Root Beer, I LOVE Chai Tea!!!

So the flavors got my approval all around, but what about the chap lip balm itself? 

I would say that My Lip Stuff is more of a glossy lip balm.  In addition to making my lips feel soft and moist it also added some shine to my lips.  I LOVE this!  It's kind of like mixing chap stick and lip gloss... the best of both worlds!  However, I would say most men would not enjoy this as it might come off as a little "girly".  But since I don't know too many men who apply and reapply lip balm throughout the day obsessively like some of us women, I don't think that will be a huge problem.

But what about the money?  I am Eco-Friendly AND Frugal after all.  Fear not, my readers!  Besides having great flavors and a great texture, My Lip Stuff is also affordable.  Starting at $2.50 this lip balm is cheaper than what you can find in most stores!

What I Love: Um... everything?  The price, the texture, the flavors, the company, Brea... I love it all.  My Lip Stuff is a great company that I have no hesitations backing and supporting.  I intend to buy all future lip balms here!  This is such a wonderful eco-friendly company putting a lot of effort into being Green!

What I Don't Love: Since I feel like I've been saying "Nothing" so much, I wanted to come up with something and that something is very trivial.  I don't like the texture of the label.  Haha, I know, trivial, right?  But it squeaks when you rub your fingers over it and I kept doing that and couldn't stop.  It's like fingers on a chalkboard for me.  But I'm also weird, as you all know by now!
