Week 9 and 10
Symptoms: Really just the dry heaving and bloating continued. Otherwise I was getting energy back and icky feelings were going away. I also have a little bit of round ligament pain but not anything I really notice. I was no longer nauseous every second of the day and started to think "I could do this again!". I flew home at 9 weeks and 6 days and had no issues on the flight or in the airport, thank goodness!
Appointments, News, Updates: As mentioned above, this was my "coming out" time. I told my parents at 9 weeks and 6 days when I arrived home, and came out on Facebook at 10 weeks, 2 days. We celebrated Christmas at my cousins house that Saturday (the day after the Facebook outing) and I was able to share in this with another pregnant cousin who's about 24 weeks along. I got to feel her little one kick while there and know now what I (hopefully) have to look forward to. This was also the week that I realized I wasn't going to be able to wear my regular pants much longer. I am very small (as in skinny) and never had hips until now. They popped up within the first few weeks and while visiting my parents I had a lot of issues pulling my pants all the way up. My mom helped me remedy this by buying me my first pair of maternity pants at Motherhood Maternity, where I also found an awesome Packers maternity shirt on sale.
As I write this I am 11 weeks, 6 days pregnant. So I will be doing my 11 week update tomorrow on my "ticker change date". 11 weeks has by far been the most interesting as far as things happening with my body. There will be a photo comparison. And anyone who says you can't show this early is very, very wrong. I know it's bloat but MAN this bloat is crazy! Stay tuned!
