WorldRugs.co.uk Review

 A few weeks ago I told you about a little obsession I started forming over looking at unique lighting options for our house.  My strange obsessions and desire to suddenly decorate my home and make it seems a little more livable has continued.  Except now instead of lighting, I have suddenly become obsessed with rug.

My entire house is laminate hardwood flooring.  Great for having so many dogs and makes cleaning pretty easy, but it's not the prettiest and it's not the warmest.  So especially in the winter months (yes, we DO get winter months here!) I find myself missing carpet.  But carpet isn't the best if you have dogs and allergens.  Luckily, there's another options- a good quality rug.  Which is where WorldRugs.co.uk comes in!

I absolutely love websites that are set-up in an easy to explore sort of way, and sites that make it easy to find exactly what you are looking for.  WorldRugs is this sort of site.  With categories of rugs ranging from "Traditions" to "Retro/Funky" to "Kids".  You can also explore based on size and shape by clicking on "Round", "Square", or "Runners".  Right now we are focusing on preparing our nursery for our new addition coming this summer, so I decided to check out the "Kids" section.

I was expecting to be bombarded with cheesy cartoon character rugs and other designs I would want nothing to do with, but instead was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a huge variety of fun designs and bright colors, perfect for a baby or child's room.  Our nursery space is long and narrow so I shortened my options by selection 120x170 and 160x230 in the "Rug Size" category.  This narrowed my options down to about 40 rugs.  From there I just scrolled until I found the Jazz Stripes Green Rectangle Shaped Rug (pictured), AKA my dream nursery rug.  For just £90.00 it also fits most budgets.  I love the colors, the shape, the size, the look... everything.  It's fun but simple enough that it wouldn't be overbearing.  

With thousands of rugs options on the site I am sure that I could explore some more and find a great option for every room in my hard-wood house.  Their selection is broad and can fit every style and every room in your home.  So check 'em out if you are in need of a great rug to complete the look of your room.
